Ron Zielin Joins Trucks & Parts as Vice President of Finance, Strengthening Financial Leadership Amidst Rapid Growth


Trucks & Parts, the nation’s original garbage truck dealer, founded in 1950 and rapidly approaching its 75th anniversary, is proud to announce the appointment of Ron Zielin as Vice President of Finance. Zielin, a highly respected and visionary financial leader, joins the company during a period of continuous and rapid growth. His deep commitment to responsible financial management will help the company uphold its high standards of quality, service, and innovation as they continue to expand.

With a strong educational background, including a BS in Finance, an MBA in Professional Accounting, and CPA certification, Zielin brings extensive expertise in financial strategy, capital formation, and business process improvement. His experience spans accounting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and compliance. Zielin also holds Securities Licenses in Series 3, 6, 7, and 63.

Zielin’s leadership roles, including his time as President and Owner of Offsite Technology Solutions and Tampa Dock and Seawall, as well as his previous experience as CFO and General Manager at Trucks & Parts, make him uniquely qualified to lead the company’s financial strategy. His expertise in software implementation and process improvement ensures Trucks & Parts remains at the forefront of financial management, leveraging technology to streamline operations and deliver even greater value to customers.

In addition to his professional career, Zielin is deeply engaged in the Tampa community. He has served as a coach for boys lacrosse, baseball, and girls softball, and is a longtime member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, Vistage, and the Florida Marine Contractors Association. He and his family have lived in Tampa for 20 years, where he remains an active supporter of various local organizations.
